Invited by CPB (Corporation for Public Broadcasting) in Washington, D.C., she shared with other TV executives the secrets behind the design and success of these elegant and highly affordable multicultural events.

She executive produced the independent self-help TV program The Discouraged Child: Bright but Underachieving, which aired locally and on select PBS stations nationally. And, she co-associate produced the multiple award-winning TV documentary Child Abuse: The Perfect Crime.

Within the community, along side her support of child abuse prevention and literacy advancement, in 2003 Jill facilitated the Mayor’s Task Force on Accessible Parking Issues with key decision makers from the city of Houston and Harris County following the Houston ABC/Channel 13 expose on the staggering number of non-disabled people parking in handicapped parking and not fined. The Mayor and City Council quickly accepted the Task Force’s final plan. It remains active, successful, and to date (2009), the city has issued over 40,000 parking citations and collected over $3,500,000 in fines.
